Update on my kids (Merlin and Scout)

I know it's been awhile since you've read about my kids, so I thought you needed an update.

Merlin is getting old. Hard to face, but true.  He has now twice fallen off the bed.  The first time, he rolled over on his back, settled there for a bit, then rolled again- right off the bed. Stunned him because he was asleep.  The second time, he was walking all over the king bed sniffing, scratching looking for the perfect place to thump down.  Every few seconds, he'd get up, still not right.  Until he walked right off the bed!  My poor little guy!

Scout, Scout, Scout, Scooter, Scouter, Little Girl, Sister Golden-Hair, she answers to almost anything.  She makes  me laugh! The other day (I've mentioned before how she loves pillows), I was watching as she pushed a pillow off the bed, then growled and jumped on it, then jumped back on the bed, then jumped back down on the pillow, I was laughing so hard.  Another time, she was growling and wrangling with the pillow, and I came out of the bathroom and she looked up at me like, hey, I'm not doing anything I shouldn't.  Like I can believe that-- she's always up to no good!  Anything on the floor is fair game.  Do you have a dog like this?  She's a lot of trouble, but they don't come any sweeter or funnier.
